General terms and conditions of business

1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) apply to all orders placed through the online shop of Sommer Seifen, Maihölzli 6, 6331 Hünenberg, Switzerland.
Any terms and conditions of the customer will not be accepted unless they have been expressly approved in writing by Sommer Seifen.
2. Offer and conclusion of contract
2.1. Product presentations in the online shop do not constitute a legally binding offer but serve as a non-binding online catalog.
2.2. By clicking “Place Order” or “Buy Now,” customers submit a binding order for the products contained in the shopping cart.
2.3. The contract is concluded as soon as we confirm the order or ship the products.
3. Products & Ingredients
3.1. We sell natural skin and hair care products in accordance with Swiss law, including the Foodstuffs and Utility Articles Ordinance (LGV) and the Cosmetics Ordinance (VKos).
3.2. Product descriptions, ingredient lists (INCI), and usage instructions are regularly updated but may change without prior notice.
3.3. Individual skin reactions cannot be ruled out. Customers are responsible for checking the ingredients and performing a patch test before use.
4. Prices and shipping costs
4.1. All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include the applicable value-added tax.
4.2. Shipping costs are calculated separately and displayed during the ordering process.
4.3. Prices, promotions, and discounts may be changed at any time without prior notice.
5th delivery
5.1. Deliveries are made within Switzerland and – where offered – to selected international countries.
5.2. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
5.3. If an item is not available, we will refund the purchase price or offer an alternative.
6. Payment methods
Accepted payment methods may include:

The contract becomes effective only after successful payment, unless otherwise agreed.
7. Right of withdrawal & returns
7.1. For hygiene reasons, opened or used cosmetic products cannot be returned.
7.2. Unopened products may be returned within 14 days of receipt.
7.3. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the product is defective or was delivered incorrectly.
7.4. Refunds are issued within 14 days after the returned items have been received and inspected.
8. Warranty & Defects
8.1. Customers must inspect the delivered products immediately and report any defects within 5 days after receipt.
8.2. In the case of justified defects, we will offer either a replacement or a refund.
8.3. Any further liability, especially for indirect or consequential damages, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
9. Health & Safety Information
9.1. Our products are not medical treatments and do not replace professional medical advice.
9.2. Customers with allergies or skin conditions should perform a patch test or consult a doctor before use.
10. Data protection
10.1. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG).
10.2. Customer data is treated confidentially and only shared to the extent necessary for order processing or to fulfill legal obligations.

11. Intellectual Property
All content, images, texts, and designs on the website are protected by copyright. Any use without written permission is prohibited.
12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by Swiss law.
The place of jurisdiction is Hünenberg, ZG, Switzerland, unless mandatory legal provisions state otherwise.
13. Final Provisions
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is invalid, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
